Returns Policy

Return Period
You have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to contact us and initiate a return request.
This period is in full compliance with the legal right of withdrawal established under European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
After this 14-day period, no return, exchange or refund can be accepted under any circumstances.
Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unworn, unwashed, and free of any odour
- No traces of use, makeup or perfume
- All original tags intact and attached
- Returned in its original packaging — pouch, box, tissue paper
Any item returned in a non-compliant condition (worn, damaged, washed or incomplete) will be refused and returned to the sender. In this case, return shipping costs are entirely the customer's responsibility and must be settled before dispatch.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are excluded from our returns and refund policy:
- Personalised or made-to-order pieces
- Items that are visibly worn, damaged, or have had tags removed
- Gift cards
Items purchased with a promotional code or during a sale: exchange only — refunds are not available. See Section 05.
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us at contact@kimaian.com within 14 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and reason for the return
- Our team will respond within 48 hours with full return instructions
- Ship the item only to the address confirmed by our team — KIMAIAN, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Important — Do not send any item back without first receiving written confirmation from our team. Unsolicited returns will not be processed.
Sale Items & Promotional Codes
Items purchased with a discount code or during a promotional event — whether at full price or reduced — are not eligible for a refund.
An exchange remains possible within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is returned in its original, unworn condition as described in Section 02.
Any price difference on exchange will be charged or credited accordingly.
Resolution Options
Upon approval of your return, we offer the following resolutions:
- Refund — credited to your original payment method, processed within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank
- Store credit — valid on any future order, with no expiry date
- Exchange — for the same piece in a different size, or another available style, subject to stock
Your chosen resolution will be confirmed by email after inspection of the returned item.
Return Shipping Costs
Defective item or our error — return shipping costs are fully covered by KIMAIAN.
Change of mind or size — return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
For any return valued above €75, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. KIMAIAN cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or one that does not match your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@kimaian.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item and its packaging
We will cover all return shipping costs and offer a full replacement or refund according to your preference.
Inspection Period
Upon receipt of your returned parcel, we have 3 to 5 business days to inspect the item and confirm approval or refusal of the return by email.
No refund, credit or exchange will be processed before this inspection is complete.
Photos Upon Receipt
We strongly recommend photographing your parcel upon opening — outer packaging, tissue paper, and item — as soon as it is received.
In the event of a damaged item, these photographs are mandatory for any refund or replacement request to be considered.
Delivery Dispute
If your tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received your parcel, please:
- Check with neighbours, your concierge, or a nearby pick-up point
- Allow 24 to 48 hours — a scan delay is occasionally possible
- Open a formal inquiry with the carrier
- Send us the case reference number at contact@kimaian.com — we cannot process any claim without this documentation
Limited Editions & Exchanges
All KIMAIAN creations are produced in limited edition. An exchange for the exact same style or colour is not always guaranteed depending on available stock at the time of return.
In the event of a stock shortage, we will offer one of the following alternatives:
- Store credit valid across the full collection
- An exchange for another available style of your choice
- A full refund if neither option suits you
Refund Not Received?
If you have not received your refund within the indicated timeframe, please proceed as follows:
- Check your bank account or card statement
- Contact your bank — a processing delay of a few days is common
- Write to us at contact@kimaian.com with your order number if the issue persists
